Dupage County, IL (ISTHA Contract No. I-20-4722) IDOT Structure Number 022-9515. Our lead designer performed the design of the substructure, bearing, splices, and cross frame connection as well as the design plans. The structure is a partially curved two-span bridge consisting of steel plate girder on multi-column piers with spread footing supported by piles and pile bent abutments. Girder depth was 68" and bridge length was 322 feet (159‘-163‘). The image above shows the 3-span bridge carrying US 24 over LaMoine River, Brown & Schuyler Counties, IL (0605).
